Lisa's Story

Age: 49

After the birth of my three children (including a set of twins) and losing over 80 pounds, not once but twice, I was left with a flap of skin on my tummy no exercise would be able to help. I also have my mother's eyes and at 49 already had "hooded" eyes so bad it was hard to see in the mornings.

In a consultation, Dr. Tenenbaum recommended an upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) with a tummy tuck.

I had surgery in January 2016, and recovery wasn't really that long. I took pain medications for 3 to 5 days and after that, I just took it easy for a while (and did everything the doctor told me, AKA listened to instructions!).

I love Dr. Tennenbaum! She is so good at what she does. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is just a very sweet lady. In addition, appointments were always timely, surgery was a great experience (the hospital was the best I have ever been in), and the office is relaxing and beautiful.

I'm always asked by friends and family if I'd do these procedures again (by that they mean was it worth it?) and I always say: "In a heartbeat!" The results have made me feel more confident, and I love the way it turned out.

I would say if you are considering plastic surgery, go talk to Dr. Tenenbaum and at least get some information from her. Be like Nike and "Just Do It!"
