Breast Reconstruction

Being diagnosed at age 39 with breast cancer was terrifying. Making the decision to have a double mastectomy was equally terrifying, although I knew in my heart I was making the right choice for me and my circumstances. I was referred to West County Plastic Surgeons by Dr. Julie Margenthaler. She recommended breast reconstruction. But, understandably, I was nervous how I would look and feel about my body and breasts after the reconstructive surgeries. The moment I met Dr. Marissa Tenenbaum, my fears were put to rest. Her kindness and confidence immediately put me at ease. She explained things to me and gave me options I didn't think I had. My results have been amazing—more than I could have hoped for. Dr. Tenenbaum is extremely skilled at what she does and treats you with respect and kindness while doing it! And to top it off, her nurses and office staff are wonderful. They are professional, are kind, and have always made me feel welcome. I could not have asked for a better doctor and team of people to help me through a difficult time in my life. Thank you!
