Dr. Marissa Tenenbaum is a board-certified plastic surgeon at West County Plastic Surgeons. She is an associate professor at Washington University School of Medicine. She has been voted among the "Best Plastic Surgeons" and "Best Doctors in America" by St. Louis Magazine and as a "Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly Limited. She has also been recognized as a RealSelf Top Doctor.
She is currently also the program director of the Plastic Surgery Residency at Washington University and is involved with educating the next generation of plastic surgeons about cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
At West County Plastic Surgeons of Washington University, Dr. Tenenbaum specializes in plastic cosmetic facial body surgery with a special interest in breast procedures including augmentation, breast lift and mastopexy-augmentation as well as breast reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Tenenbaum graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, one of the highest ranked medical schools in the country (consistent ranked in the top 10 by U.S. News and World Report). She graduated ninth in her class, earning the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), among numerous other honors.
She then completed residency training also at Washington University before heading to Los Angeles for her cosmetic surgery fellowship at Marina Plastic Surgery Associates in Los Angeles, California, under its director, Dr. Grant Stevens.
