My surgical oncologist, Dr. Margenthaler, recommended oncoplasty with Dr. Myckatyn, who was very optimistic about my candidacy for the procedure and did a great job of estimating how I would look after radiation. I am very happy with the results. I feel much better, and my neck and back pain were greatly improved. Wearing a bra is optional now, and it's much easier to exercise. I am grateful I will not need major reconstruction surgery after breast cancer.
