Procedures: DIEP Flap Reconstruction
My breast surgeon, Dr. Cyr at Siteman Cancer Center, referred me to West County Plastic Surgeons for a double mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction. In September 2016, I had a consultation with Dr. Terry Myckatyn. By December 2016, I was fully recovered from surgery. All staff make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Because my daughter and myself had mastectomies, we have been to the office twice as much. We became very comfortable with the doctors and the staff. Every trip there was very pleasant, and we enjoyed meeting with the staff. They make you feel at home and comfortable. The results are AWESOME! I know that I will never get breast cancer, and I look and feel great!
