Age: 40

In October of 2011, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I literally thought my life was over! After talking with my surgeon, I decided to have a bilateral mastectomy. My breast surgeon, Dr. Margenthaler, recommended Dr. Tenenbaum to do my breast reconstruction. I saw Dr. Tenenbaum in consultation, and she recommended breast reconstruction with tissue expanders first, then permanent implants. For my permanent implants (final stage of reconstruction), Dr. Tenenbaum suggested the Natrelle 410 implants.

After my bilateral mastectomy, Dr. Tenenbaum started breast reconstruction.

During my journey, I learned a lot about breast reconstruction. I felt very relaxed with Dr. Tenenbaum. Marilyn also helped me to feel less stress!

I am very pleased with the breast reconstruction results! I feel like my normal self again.

After all of my surgeries, I finally feel like a normal woman again!
