DO BREAST IMPLANTS HURT?

During the breast augmentation procedure, you will not feel any pain because the procedure is performed while you are under general anesthesia. After you return home and the anesthesia begins to wear off, you will likely feel soreness under your armpits and around your chest area. Pain medication will help you control any post-surgical pain for the first week or two following surgery. After you are completely healed, you should not feel any pain from your breast implants.

If you have questions or would like to book a consultation with one of the surgeons at West County Plastic Surgery, please call (314) 996-8800.
